Roast Paprika Potatoes


• 8 potatoes
• 60 ml olive oil
• juice of half a lemon
• 2 ml turmeric
• 5 ml smoked paprika
• coarse salt


Heat the oven to 200°C. Peel the potatoes and cut in half.

Place in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes only. Drain.

Mix olive oil, lemon juice, turmeric and paprika.

Place the potatoes in a roasting pan and pour over the oil mixture. Roast for 1½ hours. Turn the potatoes over halfway through the cooking process. Drain on kitchen paper and season with coarse salt.
