Basic Pancake Recipe

Makes 16 pancakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 large eggs
1-1/2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons melted butter

Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a  mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and melted butter together until well blended, then stir into the dry ingredients. Mix gently. Pour the batter onto a preheated griddle in 1/3 cup increments. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and break, then flip and cook until golden.
